سُوْرَةُ الْحِجْرِ
Surah Al-Hijr (15) — Ayah 42
إِنَّ عِبَادِى لَيْسَ لَكَ عَلَيْهِمْ سُلْطَـٰنٌ إِلَّا مَنِ ٱتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ ٱلْغَاوِينَ ﴿42﴾

"Certainly, you shall have no authority over My slaves, except those who follow you of the Ghâwûn (Mushrikûn and those who go astray, criminals, polytheists, and evil-doers).

42. 1. That is, your plot will not work against My righteous servants. This does not mean that they will never commit any sin, but rather it means that they will not commit such a sin after which they do not feel remorse and do not repent, because it is only that sin which leads to a person's destruction—after which a person does not feel regret and does not have the urge to turn back to Allah in repentance. Only after such a sin does a person continue to commit sin after sin. And ultimately, eternal ruin and destruction become his fate. And the characteristic of the people of faith is that they do not persist in sin, but rather, they immediately repent and strive to avoid it in the future.
