[Iblîs (Satan)] said: "I am not the one to prostrate myself to a human being, whom You created from dried (sounding) clay of altered mud."

33. 1. Shaytan gave the reason for his denial as the fact that Hazrat Adam (علیہ السلام) was made of clay and was a human, which means that to consider a human being as inferior and lowly due to his humanity is the philosophy of Shaytan. The people of truth, the Prophets (علیہم السلام), do not deny the humanity of the Prophets, because the humanity of the Prophets has itself been clearly stated by the Noble Quran. Moreover, the humanity of the Prophets does not make any difference to their greatness and status.
