Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

7. 1. He has informed and warned you with His promise. And it is also possible that this is in the meaning of an oath, that is, when your Lord, swearing by His honor, majesty, and greatness, said (Ibn Kathir).
7. 2. Upon showing gratitude for a blessing, I will bestow even more rewards.
7. 3. This means that ingratitude for blessings (ungratefulness) is disliked by Allah, for which He has stated a severe warning of punishment. That is why the Prophet ﷺ also said that the majority of women will enter Hell due to their ingratitude towards their husbands (Sahih Muslim).
