Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

11. 1 The messengers first answered the objection by saying that indeed we are humans like you. But your understanding is incorrect that a human cannot be a messenger. Allah selects some individuals from among humans for revelation and messengership for the guidance of mankind, and among all of you, Allah has bestowed this favor upon us.

11. 2 Regarding the miracles as per their demand, the messengers replied that the occurrence of miracles is not within our control; it is only within Allah's control.

11. 3 Here, by "believers" is meant firstly the prophets themselves, that is, we should place all our trust in Allah alone, as it is further stated: what reason do we have not to place our trust in Allah?
