Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

23. 1. The meaning of 'Adn is residence. That is, gardens in which one will reside forever.

23. 2. That is, in such a way Allah will unite righteous relatives so that their eyes will be cooled by seeing each other, even to the extent that a person of a lower rank in Paradise will be granted a higher rank so that he may be united with his relative. 52. At-Tur:21) "And those who believed and whose descendants followed them in faith – We will join with them their descendants, and We will not deprive them of anything of their deeds." From this, it is understood that Allah Almighty will unite righteous relatives in Paradise, and it is also understood that if someone does not possess the capital of faith and righteous deeds, he will not enter Paradise, even if his other very close relatives have entered Paradise. Because entry into Paradise is not based on lineage, but on faith and deeds. (Man bata'a bihi amaluhu lam yusri' bihi nasabuhu) Sahih Muslim. "He whom his deeds hold back, his lineage will not push forward."
