He said: "No reproach on you this day; may Allâh forgive you, and He is the Most Merciful of those who show mercy!

92. 1. Prophet Yusuf (علیہ السلام) also acted with prophetic forgiveness and forbearance, saying that what happened has happened. Today, there will be no reproach or blame upon you. On the day of the conquest of Makkah, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ also forgave those disbelievers and leaders of Quraysh of Makkah, who were thirsty for his blood and had inflicted various kinds of harm upon him, by uttering these same words and pardoning them. ﷺ.
