ٱقْتُلُوا۟ يُوسُفَ أَوِ ٱطْرَحُوهُ أَرْضًا يَخْلُ لَكُمْ وَجْهُ أَبِيكُمْ وَتَكُونُوا۟ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ قَوْمًا صَـٰلِحِينَ ﴿9﴾
"Kill Yûsuf (Joseph) or cast him out to some (other) land, so that the favour of your father may be given to you alone, and after that you will be righteous folk (by intending repentance before committing the sin)."
ٱقْتُلُوا۟ uq'tulū Kill

أَوِ awi or
ٱطْرَحُوهُ iṭ'raḥūhu cast him
أَرْضًۭا arḍan (to) a land
يَخْلُ yakhlu so will be free
لَكُمْ lakum for you
وَجْهُ wajhu (the) face
أَبِيكُمْ abīkum (of) your father
وَتَكُونُوا۟ watakūnū and you will be
مِنۢ min after that
بَعْدِهِۦ baʿdihi after that
قَوْمًۭا qawman a people
صَـٰلِحِينَ ṣāliḥīna righteous
