ثُمَّ يَأْتِى مِنۢ بَعْدِ ذَٰلِكَ عَامٌ فِيهِ يُغَاثُ ٱلنَّاسُ وَفِيهِ يَعْصِرُونَ ﴿49﴾
"Then thereafter will come a year in which people will have abundant rain and in which they will press (wine and oil)."
ثُمَّ thumma Then
يَأْتِى yatī will come
مِنۢ min after
بَعْدِ baʿdi after
ذَٰلِكَ dhālika that
عَامٌۭ ʿāmun a year
فِيهِ fīhi in it
يُغَاثُ yughāthu will be given abundant rain
ٱلنَّاسُ l-nāsu the people
وَفِيهِ wafīhi and in it
يَعْصِرُونَ yaʿṣirūna they will press

49. 1. That is, after the years of famine have passed, there will be abundant rainfall, resulting in plentiful produce, and you will extract juice from grapes, oil from olives, and milk from animals. The subtle connection between the interpretation of the dream and the dream itself can only be understood by one whom Allah grants such authentic intuition, sound taste, and firm ability as Allah granted to Yusuf (عليه السلام).
