This is also one of the names of the Day of Judgment, among which several names have already been mentioned, such as اَلْحاقَّۃُ, الطَّاَمَّۃُ, صَّاَخَّہُ, اَلْغَاشِیَۃُ, الْسَّاعَہُ, الْوَاقِعَۃُ, etc. It is called الْقَارِعَۃُ because, with its terrors, it will awaken hearts and warn the enemies of Allah of punishment, just as one who knocks on a door does.
