Surah Yunus (10) — Ayah 54

وَلَوْ أَنَّ لِكُلِّ نَفْسٍ ظَلَمَتْ مَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ لَٱفْتَدَتْ بِهِۦ ۗ وَأَسَرُّوا۟ ٱلنَّدَامَةَ لَمَّا رَأَوُا۟ ٱلْعَذَابَ ۖ وَقُضِىَ بَيْنَهُم بِٱلْقِسْطِ ۚ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ ﴿54﴾
And if every person who had wronged (by disbelieving in Allâh and by worshipping others besides Allâh) possessed all that is on the earth and sought to ransom himself therewith (it will not be accepted), and they would feel in their hearts regret when they see the torment, and they will be judged with justice, and no wrong will be done unto them.
وَلَوْ walaw And if
أَنَّ anna that
لِكُلِّ likulli for every
نَفْسٍۢ nafsin soul
ظَلَمَتْ ẓalamat (that) wronged
مَا whatever
فِى (is) in
ٱلْأَرْضِ l-arḍi the earth
لَٱفْتَدَتْ la-if'tadat it (would) seek to ransom
بِهِۦ ۗ bihi with it
وَأَسَرُّوا۟ wa-asarrū and they (will) confide
ٱلنَّدَامَةَ l-nadāmata the regret
لَمَّا lammā when
رَأَوُا۟ ra-awū they see
ٱلْعَذَابَ ۖ l-ʿadhāba the punishment
وَقُضِىَ waquḍiya But will be judged
بَيْنَهُم baynahum between them
بِٱلْقِسْطِ ۚ bil-qis'ṭi in justice
وَهُمْ wahum and they
لَا (will) not
يُظْلَمُونَ yuẓ'lamūna (be) wronged

54. 1. That is, if by giving all the treasures of the world he could escape the punishment, he would be willing to give it. But there, who will have anything at all? The meaning is that there will be no way to escape the punishment.
