Surah Yunus (10) — Ayah 37

وَمَا كَانَ هَـٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانُ أَن يُفْتَرَىٰ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَلَـٰكِن تَصْدِيقَ ٱلَّذِى بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَتَفْصِيلَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ مِن رَّبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ ﴿37﴾
And this Qur’ân is not such as could ever be produced by other than Allâh (Lord of the heavens and the earth), but it is a confirmation of (the revelation) which was before it [i.e. the Taurât (Torah), and the Injeel (Gospel)], and a full explanation of the Book (i.e. laws, decreed for mankind) - wherein there is no doubt - from the Lord of the ‘Âlamîn (mankind, jinn, and all that exists).
وَمَا wamā And not
كَانَ kāna is
هَـٰذَا hādhā this
ٱلْقُرْءَانُ l-qur'ānu the Quran
أَن an that
يُفْتَرَىٰ yuf'tarā (it could be) produced
مِن min by
دُونِ dūni other than Allah
ٱللَّهِ l-lahi other than Allah
وَلَـٰكِن walākin but
تَصْدِيقَ taṣdīqa (it is) a confirmation
ٱلَّذِى alladhī (of that) which
بَيْنَ bayna (was) before it
يَدَيْهِ yadayhi (was) before it
وَتَفْصِيلَ watafṣīla and a detailed explanation
ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ l-kitābi (of) the Book
لَا (there is) no
رَيْبَ rayba doubt
فِيهِ fīhi in it
مِن min from
رَّبِّ rabbi (the) Lord
ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ l-ʿālamīna (of) the worlds

37. 1 This is evidence that this Quran is not fabricated, but rather revealed by the same Being who sent down the previous scriptures.
37. 2 That is, the one who explains in detail what is lawful and unlawful, and what is permissible and impermissible.
37. 3 In its teachings, in the stories and events it narrates, and regarding the events that will occur in the future.
37. 4 All these matters make it clear that it has been revealed only from the Lord of all worlds, who knows the past and the future.
