Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

19. 1 Hold firmly to whatever Allah ﷻ reveals, act upon whatever He commands, refrain from whatever He forbids, and do not show any negligence in anything. And endure with patience whatever hardships come in obeying and following the revelation, whatever harm comes from the opponents, and whatever difficulties have to be faced in the path of preaching and inviting—face all of them with steadfastness and perseverance.

19. 2 Because His knowledge is perfect, His power and might are vast, and His mercy is all-encompassing—so who can be a better judge than Him?
