Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim — Hafiz Abdus Salam Bin Muhammad Bhutvi
Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
(Ayah2) {وَاَخْرَجَتِالْاَرْضُاَثْقَالَهَا: ’’ أَثْقَالٌ ‘‘ ’’ثَقَلٌ‘‘} is the plural of "thaqalun", the belongings of a traveler and precious things which he protects, meaning whatever the earth has kept safe will be brought out. Or it is the plural of {’’ثِقْلٌ‘‘}, which means pregnancy, as it is said: « فَلَمَّاۤاَثْقَلَتْ»[ الأعراف : ۱۸۹ ] "So when she (the woman) becomes heavy." In this case, the earth is likened to a pregnant woman, meaning such a severe earthquake will occur that the earth will split open and whatever deceased people or whatever else the earth has kept safe will be brought out and it will become empty, as it is said: «وَاَلْقَتْمَافِيْهَاوَتَخَلَّتْ »[الانشقاق : ۴ ] "And whatever is in it it will throw out and it will become empty."

2. 1. That is, all the humans buried in the earth are its burden, whom the earth will throw out on the Day of Resurrection, and by Allah's command, all will come out alive. This will happen at the second blowing of the trumpet; similarly, the treasures of the earth will also come out.
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran — Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani

The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
2. And it brings forth its burdens [2],
[2] The Three Types of Burdens the Earth Will Cast Out:
There will be three types of burdens inside the earth. (1) The minerals of the earth, the buried treasures of gold and jewels, likewise the reserves of liquids and gases for which mankind used to wander restlessly in the world, employing unlawful and forbidden means to acquire them, fighting and quarreling with one another, and one country waging war against another. On that day, the earth will cast out all such treasures, but on that day, mankind will have no concern for them. They will be of no use to anyone. (2) The burden of buried dead, that is, from our master Adam ؑ to the Day of Resurrection, all the humans who will be buried inside the earth, and most of them will have mixed with the soil and become dust. The earth will cast out all their components. These very components will be joined together by Allah’s command, and every human will be granted a body. (3) Those parts of the earth upon which any human performed a good or bad deed, which in common language is called circumstantial or situational evidence. These very parts of the earth will be presented in Allah’s court as witnesses against the criminals, and they will testify.
