Certainly, your efforts and deeds are diverse (different in aims and purposes);

(Ayah 4){ اِنَّ سَعْيَكُمْ لَشَتّٰى:} That is, just as there is mutual difference and contrast in night and day and in male and female creatures, similarly there is also difference in your efforts and your deeds, and then their results and rewards and punishments are also separate.

[1] Like Surah Ash-Shams, at the beginning of this Surah, Allah Almighty swears by several opposing things, such as the night and the day, the male and the female, and declares that just as the characteristics of day and night, and male and female, are mutually opposed and different, in the same way, O children of Adam, the deeds you perform in this world are also mutually opposed and different. Therefore, the results of your striving and actions are different and should be different. They can never be the same.
