ٱلَّتِى لَمْ يُخْلَقْ مِثْلُهَا فِى ٱلْبِلَـٰدِ ﴿8﴾
The like of which were not created in the land?
ٱلَّتِى allatī Which

8. The like of whom was never created in the lands [7],

[7] That is, such a tall, powerful, and strong nation did not exist anywhere else on the face of the earth. Another meaning is that in that era, their fame resounded throughout the world; there was no other nation equal to them. These people also denied the Hereafter, and thus were immoral and rebellious against Allah. A punishment of a severe, cold, and violent wind came upon them, which utterly destroyed them.
