Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 9,8){ اِنَّهٗ عَلٰى رَجْعِهٖ لَقَادِرٌ (8) يَوْمَ تُبْلَى السَّرَآىِٕرُ: ’’ تُبْلَى ‘‘ ’’بَلَا يَبْلُوْ‘‘} (n) To test, to examine; here it means to make manifest, because examination will only occur when hidden deeds are revealed. {’’ السَّرَآىِٕرُ ‘‘ ’’ سَرِيْرَةٌ ‘‘} is the plural of {’’ سَرِيْرَةٌ ‘‘}. {’’سِرٌّ‘‘} and {’’ سَرِيْرَةٌ‘‘} refer to that which is concealed. (Qamus) By this are meant those intentions, motives, and beliefs which no one knows except the person himself, and also those deeds which no one else can know. {’’ يَوْمَ تُبْلَى السَّرَآىِٕرُ ‘‘ ’’ رَجْعِهٖ ‘‘} is the adverb of time, meaning Allah Almighty is capable of resurrecting man on that day when the hidden matters will be examined.

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

8. 1. That is, after the death of a human, He is capable of resurrecting him. According to some, it means that He has the power to return that drop of fluid back into the private part from where it came out. The first meaning has been considered more Sahih by Imam Shawkani and Imam Ibn Jarir Tabari.

Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

8. Surely, Allah is able to bring him back (to life) [6].

[6] Allah Almighty has presented one testimony from the higher world, and another from the creation of man, and both are strong proofs of the fact that the Being who is accomplishing such magnificent feats is certainly capable of bringing man back to life again. And if a person reflects, these feats are even more astonishing and miraculous than the resurrection of man. Now, the person who considers these feats to be mere coincidences, why does he not say that all the factories operating in the world, made by human hands, also came into existence and started functioning as a result of accidental incidents? Or that the cities inhabited in the world, the roads, and the flowing rivers and canals, are all the result of coincidences? Such madmen should seek treatment for their minds. And the truth is that the only cure for such stubborn people is the stick.
