Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. (Ayah 13){ اِنَّهٗلَقَوْلٌفَصْلٌ:} Some commentators have interpreted this to mean that this Quran is a decisive word; there is no doubt that the Quran is a decisive word, but if we consider the context of the previous verses and oaths, then here it seems that by "decisive word" is meant the statement about the ability to establish the Resurrection and to resurrect mankind, that is, the sky which repeatedly sends down rain and the earth which, due to its moisture, splits open and brings forth the seed, bear witness that your being resurrected is a clear and decisive matter. On the Day of Resurrection, you too will come forth alive from the earth in the same way. It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: [ مَابَيْنَالنَّفْخَتَيْنِأَرْبَعُوْنَ… : ۴۹۳۵۔ مسلم : ۲۹۵۵ ] "There will be an interval of forty between the two trumpet blasts... then rain will descend from the sky and people will grow just as vegetation grows, and there is no part of man that does not decay except for one bone, and that is the tailbone; on the Day of Resurrection, creation will be assembled from it."
