Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. The Literal Meaning of ﴿وَسَقَ﴾:

After the sun rises, all humans go out of their homes in search of livelihood, and other birds and animals also leave their homes to fill their stomachs, and when night falls, everyone returns to their homes for rest. This is the meaning of ﴿وسق﴾, that is, to gather and collect the scattered parts of something.
