(Ayah 15,14){ اِنَّهٗ ظَنَّ اَنْ لَّنْ يَّحُوْرَ …: ’’حَارَ يَحُوْرُ حَوْرًا‘‘} (N) Returning. The record of deeds will be given behind the back to those who thought that they would not be resurrected and that there would be no reckoning. He (Allah) said, why not! Surely your reckoning was certain to happen, your Lord was well aware of all your deeds, words, and conditions, and He was also having your record of deeds prepared, but according to His perfect wisdom, He had granted you respite. Now that respite has ended, now face the consequence of your denial and heedlessness.

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. The Literal Meaning of ﴿حار﴾:
﴿يَحُوْر﴾: ﴿حار﴾ means to wander around and then return to the same place from where one started. Thus, there are two fundamental aspects in the meaning of this word: (1) to wander, (2) to return. ﴿حار الماء﴾ fil-ghadeer means the water began to swirl in the pond, and the axis is that stick around which the spinning wheel revolves. That is, he did not even have the thought that after all these various worldly pursuits, ultimately he has to return to his Lord.
