Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim — Hafiz Abdus Salam Bin Muhammad Bhutvi
Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
(Ayah 6,5){ لِيَوْمٍعَظِيْمٍ … :} "For a great day"—it is a great day because its duration is fifty thousand years. (See Ma'arij: 4) And it is also great because even appearing in a worldly court causes anxiety; on that day, one will have to appear before the Lord of all worlds. Miqdad bin Aswad (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: [ تُدْنَیالشَّمْسُيَوْمَالْقِيَامَةِمِنَالْخَلْقِحَتّٰیتَكُوْنَمِنْهُكَمِقْدَارِمِيْلٍفَيَكُوْنُالنَّاسُعَلٰیقَدْرِأَعْمَالِهِمْفِيالْعَرَقِ،فَمِنْهُمْمَنْيَّكُوْنُإِلٰیكَعْبَيْهِوَمِنْهُمْمَنْيَّكُوْنُإِلٰیرُكْبَتَيْهِوَمِنْهُمْمَنْيَّكُوْنُإِلٰیحَقْوَيْهِوَمِنْهُمْمَنْيُّلْجِمُهُالْعَرَقُإِلْجَامًاقَالَوَأَشَارَرَسُوْلُاللّٰهِصَلَّیاللّٰهُعَلَيْهِوَسَلَّمَبِيَدِهِإِلٰیفِيْهِ ][مسلم، الجنۃ و صفۃ نعیمھا، باب في صفۃ یوم القیامۃ …: ۲۸۶۴ ] "On the Day of Resurrection, the sun will be brought near to the creation until it will be as close as a mile from them. Then people will be in sweat according to their deeds; some will have sweat up to their ankles, some up to their knees, some up to their waists, and some will be bridled by sweat, like a bridle." And the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) pointed with his hand towards his mouth." In the narration of Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) mentioned sweat reaching up to the middle of the ears on that day, and recited this verse: « يَوْمَيَقُوْمُالنَّاسُلِرَبِّالْعٰلَمِيْنَ» "The Day when people will stand before the Lord of all worlds." [ بخاري، التفسیر، باب : «یوم یقوم الناس…» : ۴۹۳۸ ]

5. For a great Day [4].
[4] That day is great in the sense that all jinn and humans born until the Day of Resurrection will be held accountable on that day. And their judgment will be made in front of all witnesses.
