وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلدِّينِ ﴿17﴾
And what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is?

17. And what can make you know what the Day of Judgment [12] is?

[12] That is, no matter how much you think and reflect, you can never fully comprehend the reality of that dreadful Day. In short, understand that on that Day, all relationships and connections will come to an end. Everyone will be concerned only about themselves. No one will be able to help anyone else. Nor will anyone be able to intercede for another without Allah’s permission.
