Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 51) {ذٰلِكَ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ اَيْدِيْكُمْ …:} That is, this punishment is absolute justice, because He sent His messengers to explain to you, revealed books, but you did not accept a single one. {’’ ظَلَّامٌ‘‘} is an intensive form, meaning one who does a lot of injustice, but here its negation has come, so it does not mean that Allah is not very unjust to His servants (as if He could do a little), rather, here the negation is also emphatic, meaning Allah does not do even the slightest injustice to His servants. See the benefits of Surah Al-Imran (182). In a long hadith, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Allah says, O My servants! I have made injustice forbidden upon Myself and have made it forbidden among you as well, so do not wrong one another. O My servants! These are your own deeds which I keep preserved for you, then I will give you their full recompense, so whoever finds good, let him thank Allah, and whoever finds other than that, let him blame only himself." [ مسلم، البر والصلۃ، باب تحریم الظلم : ۲۵۷۷، عن أبی ذر رضی اللہ عنہ]

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

51. 1. This punishment and torment is the result of your own deeds; otherwise, Allah Almighty does not wrong His servants, rather He is Just and free from every kind of oppression and injustice. It is also mentioned in the Hadith Qudsi: Allah Almighty says, O My servants! I have made oppression unlawful for Myself and I have made it unlawful among you as well, so do not oppress one another. O My servants! These are your own deeds which I have kept accounted for; so whoever finds good in his deeds, let him praise Allah, and whoever finds otherwise, let him blame only himself (Sahih Muslim).
