فَإِذَا هُم بِٱلسَّاهِرَةِ ﴿14﴾
When behold, they find themselves on the surface of the earth alive after their death,
فَإِذَا fa-idhā And behold
هُم hum They
بِٱلسَّاهِرَةِ bil-sāhirati (will be) awakened

14. Then suddenly, they will be in an open plain [10].

[10] That is, the matter which these disbelievers consider to be against reason and impossible to occur, its reality is simply that when the trumpet is blown or a shout is given for the second time, then all people, former and latter, will begin to gather towards the plain of resurrection without any delay.
