The Eternal Connection of Man with the Earth:
Then, on this very earth, lofty mountains were created, which help to cool the water vapors rising from the seas and to form raindrops. They also change the direction of these vapors. As a result, snow accumulates on the mountains and abundant rains occur. Some of this water flows in the form of streams, rivulets, canals, and rivers, irrigating humans and crops, while a large portion of this rainwater is absorbed into the earth. Thus, deep beneath the surface of the earth, channels and rivers of water flow. These stored reserves of water become useful when there is a delay in rainfall, so that humans can irrigate their fields and themselves through artificial means. In addition, minerals are extracted from the mountains. Various types of liquid and gas reserves are being extracted from the earth. As the human population increases, the earth continues to yield new treasures. In other words, this very earth is quite sufficient for the sustenance of the living and also for holding the dead of the entire world.
