Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
(Ayah 24){ فَاصْبِرْلِحُكْمِرَبِّكَ … :} That is, the time is coming when your Lord will decide between truth and falsehood; you should remain patient while waiting for that time. It can also mean that you should be patient until the command of your Lord comes for jihad, that is, you yourself should continue to act upon Allah’s commands, keep inviting people to Islam, and remain patient in every trial that comes in this path. Do not abandon your actions, beliefs, or its invitation at the saying of anyone who tries to stop you, whether he is a sinner, meaning one who acts badly, or an ungrateful one, meaning one with incorrect beliefs.

24. 1. That is, wait for His decision; if He is delaying in helping you, there is wisdom in it. Therefore, patience and perseverance are needed. And if they try to stop you from the commands sent down by Allah, do not obey them; rather, continue the work of preaching and invitation, and put your trust in Allah. He will protect you from the people. "Fajir" is one who disobeys Allah, and "Kafur" is one who denies in his heart or goes to extremes in disbelief.

24. So be patient according to the command of your Lord, and do not obey any sinner [28] or ungrateful one among them.
[28] Some disbelievers were those who were raising various kinds of objections against the Quran and your ﷺ prophethood, and some were those who, by offering temptations, wanted to pave the way for compromise and conciliation. Among them, the name of Utbah bin Rabi'ah is especially noteworthy, who said to you ﷺ that if you ﷺ desire the leadership of Makkah, or wealth and riches, or marriage to a beautiful woman, we will grant you whatever you wish, provided you desist from this work which has caused division among close relatives. Allah Almighty advised His beloved Messenger not to accept any of their proposals, nor to get entangled in arguments with them. Be patient, and continue your work with patience. Do not lose sight of your goal.
