Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim — Hafiz Abdus Salam Bin Muhammad Bhutvi
Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
(Ayah 19) {وَيَطُوْفُعَلَيْهِمْوِلْدَانٌمُّخَلَّدُوْنَ … :} That is, in the gatherings of the people of Paradise, such boys will circulate to serve them, who will have two prominent qualities: first, that they will always remain children, because for service, children are more active and suitable than adults, and there is no hesitation in asking them to do any task. Second, they will be so beautiful that when you see them coming and going, you will think they are scattered pearls. Their being spread everywhere for service has been likened to the scattering of pearls. Will these boys be a separate creation whom Allah Almighty will create for the service of the people of Paradise, or will they be the children of the people of Paradise themselves? Although the first possibility is also possible, but from Surah At-Tur it is understood that they will be the children of the people of Paradise themselves, as He said: « وَيَطُوْفُعَلَيْهِمْغِلْمَانٌلَّهُمْكَاَنَّهُمْلُؤْلُؤٌمَّكْنُوْنٌ»[ الطور : ۲۴ ] "And their boys will circulate among them, as if they were hidden pearls." From this, it is understood that these boys will be their own children who died in the world, or if anyone desires children in Paradise, those children will be granted to them. These children will circulate around them for service and will be a source of further comfort and happiness for them. (And Allah knows best) Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: [ اَلْمُؤْمِنُإِذَااشْتَهَیالْوَلَدَفِيالْجَنَّةِ،كَانَحَمْلُهُوَوَضْعُهُوَسِنُّهُفِيْسَاعَةٍوَّاحِدَةٍ،كَمَايَشْتَهِيْ ][ ابن ماجہ، الزھد، باب صفۃ الجنۃ : ۴۳۳۸، وقال الألباني صحیح ] "When a believer desires a child in Paradise, its conception, birth, and growing up will happen in an instant, according to his wish."

19. 1. After describing the qualities of the wine, the qualities of the cupbearers are being described. "Will remain forever" means that, like the dwellers of Paradise, these servants will also never die. Secondly, their childhood and their beauty will always remain. They will neither grow old nor will their beauty and charm change.
19. 2. In beauty, cleanliness, freshness, and liveliness, they will be like pearls. "Scattered" means that they will be spread everywhere for service and will be very swiftly engaged in serving.

19. And there will circulate among them [servant] boys, eternally [21] young. When you see them, you would think they are scattered [22] pearls.
[21] One meaning of ﴿وِلْدَانٌمُّخَلَّدُوْنَ﴾ is clear from the translation. The second meaning is that those boys will always be present with the people of Paradise; they will never be absent. [22] That is, the beauty and elegance of those boys, their purity and cleanliness, their radiance, and their constant movement here and there will make it seem as if they are beautiful pearls scattered all around.
