Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. 14. And all that is on earth, if only he could save himself [9].

[9] In this world, it can sometimes be seen that a father sacrifices himself for his son, a son for his father, a husband for his wife, a wife for her husband, a mother for her son, a son for his mother, and a friend for a friend. Although such examples are rare, they do exist. But on that Day, the criminal will think that, let alone my mother, father, and children, the whole world may go to Hell for all I care, as long as I am saved from the torment of Hell. But this wish of his will never be fulfilled.
