(Ayah 122,121) {قَالُوْۤا اٰمَنَّا بِرَبِّ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ …:} "We have believed in the Lord of the worlds" along with «{ رَبِّ مُوْسٰى وَ هٰرُوْنَ (Who is the Lord of Musa and Harun), was said so that no one would think that they prostrated considering Pharaoh as the Lord of the worlds. In this way, it was no longer possible for Pharaoh and his advisors to convince the people that Musa (peace be upon him) was merely a magician.

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. 121. 1. The magicians knew the art of magic and its true reality. When they saw this, they understood that what Musa (عليه السلام) had presented here was not magic; indeed, he is truly a representative of Allah, and it is only with Allah's help that he has presented this miracle, which in a single moment rendered all our tricks null and void. Thus, they declared their faith in Musa (عليه السلام). From this, it becomes clear that falsehood is falsehood, no matter how many beautiful coverings are placed over it, and truth is truth, no matter how many veils are cast over it; nevertheless, the truth will always prevail.
