47. 1. From this it is understood that Muhammad ﷺ was a true Messenger, whom Allah did not punish, rather He granted him proofs and miracles and His special support and help.

47. Then none of you could have prevented Us from it [25].
[25] The Qadianis’ Argument for Mirza Qadiani’s Prophethood and Its Answer:
Just think: if an ambassador or deputy of a king, instead of delivering the king’s message, starts giving his own message and claims that it is from the king, what would the king do with such a treacherous ambassador or deputy? Instead of handing him over to the executioner, he would want to behead him with his own hands. Then, if this Messenger of Allah were to fabricate things from himself and attribute them to Allah, would Allah forgive him? Rather, he would be the greatest criminal in the sight of Allah, for he would have mixed his own words into Allah’s speech, thereby making the entire message doubtful and unreliable. It should be clear that false claimants to prophethood have taken these verses as proof, saying: “We are true prophets; if we were false, we would have been destroyed immediately.” This argument is extremely wrong. This is because this warning is for that prophet whose prophethood has already been established by evidence and proofs. This warning is not for one whose prophethood has not been established at all. For example, if a high-ranking government officer starts issuing his own orders instead of the government’s, the government will punish him severely. But if a cobbler, a road worker, or a sweeper starts telling people that these orders are being given to you through me on behalf of the government, no one will pay any attention to such a person’s words. Nor does the government consider such people’s nonsense worthy of attention, that it would go searching for them to punish them. People have even claimed divinity instead of prophethood. Many people have even accepted their claim to divinity. Yet Allah did not immediately punish such false gods. This is because it is utterly false and also a means of testing people. Many impostors present themselves as high officials, and some people are deceived by them. But the government does not punish such fake impostors. Furthermore, in these verses, there is no argument for the Prophet's ﷺ prophethood at all; rather, the argument is that this Noble Quran is purely the word of Allah, in which even the slightest admixture of the Prophet’s words is absolutely intolerable, even if those words are only an explanation of Allah’s words.
