Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim — Hafiz Abdus Salam Bin Muhammad Bhutvi
Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
(Ayah 19) {فَاَمَّامَنْاُوْتِيَكِتٰبَهٗبِيَمِيْنِهٖ … : ’’ هَآؤُمُ ‘‘} is a verbal noun (ism fi'l); Ibn Atiyyah said: "Its meaning is, 'Come!'" Zamakhshari said: {’’ هَآؤُمُ ‘‘} is a sound by which {’’خُذْ‘‘}, meaning "Here, take it," is understood. (Al-Tashil) {’’ كِتَابِيَهْ ‘‘} is originally {’’كِتَابِيْ‘‘}; in it, {’’ہْ‘‘} is for pause, not a pronoun, just as it is in {’’ مَاهِيَهْ ‘‘}. (See Al-Qari'ah: 10) It is the same in {’’ حِسَابِيَهْ ‘‘، ’’ مَالِيَهْ ‘‘} and {’’ سُلْطٰنِيَهْ ‘‘}. The meaning is that the person who will receive the record of deeds in his right hand will be so happy that he will call others to show it, just as in the world, when a person receives great happiness, he calls out to others to share in it.
Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan — Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf
Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
19. 1. That is, which will be a proof of his happiness, salvation, and success. That is, out of joy he will say to everyone, "Here, read my record of deeds, I have received my record of deeds," because he will know that it contains only his good deeds, and if there are any bad deeds, Allah would have forgiven them.
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran — Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
19. Then as for the one who is given his record in his right hand, he will say, "Here, read my record [15]!"
[15] Receiving the record of deeds in the right hand means that in the court of Allah, he will be counted among the obedient and righteous. Clear indications of this begin to appear from the moment of death. Then, when his register of account is given to him in his right hand, or he himself receives it with his right hand, he will be so overjoyed that he will be beside himself, and he will invite others, saying, "Look at my record of deeds! See how excellent my marks are in this test."
