Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 8) ➊ {فَاٰمِنُوْا بِاللّٰهِ وَ رَسُوْلِهٖ وَ النُّوْرِ الَّذِيْۤ اَنْزَلْنَا:} This "fa" is called "fasihah" because it expresses the condition that is implied there, meaning: when you have come to know all this, then believe in Allah and His Messenger and in that light which We have sent down, that is, accept them as true with your heart and tongue and follow their commands. By {’’ النُّوْرِ ‘‘} is meant the revelation sent down by Allah, because it is through this that the path to Allah becomes clear; this includes both the Qur'an and the Sunnah. See the commentary of Surah Ash-Shura (52).
{وَ اللّٰهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ خَبِيْرٌ:} Being "Khabeer" means that He will give you the recompense for your deeds. In this, there is a promise for those who believe and a warning for those who do not believe.

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

8. 1. The light that has been revealed with you ﷺ is the Noble Qur'an, by which the darkness of misguidance is dispelled and the light of faith spreads.

Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

So believe in Allah and His Messenger, and in the Light (the Qur’an) which We have sent down [16]. And Allah is fully aware of all that you do.

[16] That is, the Quran is such a book by whose light you become aware of the conditions of previous nations, for which you had no means of knowing correctly. Then, it provides you complete guidance in your present circumstances and gives you such instructions for every aspect of life, by which you can avoid a life of turmoil, mischief, and insecurity, and instead lead a life of peace and contentment. Furthermore, it fully informs you about the conditions after your death, even though there was no means of knowledge for these matters, nor could human intellect reach such information. Therefore, value this light, consider it a blessing, and become fully obedient to Allah and His Messenger ﷺ.
