إِن تُقْرِضُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا يُضَـٰعِفْهُ لَكُمْ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ شَكُورٌ حَلِيمٌ ﴿17﴾
If you lend Allâh a goodly loan (i.e. spend in Allâh’s Cause), He will double it for you, and will forgive you. And Allâh is Most Ready to appreciate and to reward, Most Forbearing,

(Ayah 17) ➊ { اِنْ تُقْرِضُوا اللّٰهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا يُّضٰعِفْهُ لَكُمْ وَ يَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ:} For its explanation, see the commentary of Surah Al-Baqarah (2:245).
{ وَ اللّٰهُ شَكُوْرٌ حَلِيْمٌ:} Allah {’’ شَكُوْرٌ ‘‘} (is Most Appreciative) in that He increases even a little spending without measure and also forgives sins, and {’’ حَلِيْمٌ ‘‘} (is Most Forbearing) in that He does not seize immediately for even great mistakes, rather He keeps granting respite upon respite. In this, there is also an indication to adopt “gratitude and forbearance” in dealings with spouses and children, that both husband and wife, and parents and children, should appreciate even each other's small acts of kindness and deal with each other's shortcomings with forbearance.

17. If you lend Allah a goodly loan [26], He will multiply it for you many times over and will forgive you. And Allah is Most Appreciative [27], Most Forbearing.

[27] The remarkable thing is that He grants reward even for spending some wealth in His path out of the wealth given by Him, and He gives a great reward for a small deed. And His forbearance is such that He does not immediately punish upon disobedience. Then, He forgives many offenders and also reduces the punishment for many people.
