Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim — Hafiz Abdus Salam Bin Muhammad Bhutvi
Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
(Ayah 7) {وَمَنْاَظْلَمُمِمَّنِافْتَرٰىعَلَىاللّٰهِالْكَذِبَوَهُوَيُدْعٰۤى … :} That is, who can be more unjust than the one who is being invited to enter Islam and to become obedient to Allah, yet he fabricates lies against Allah. Lying against Allah means that the Messenger sent by Him, about whom their previous prophets, Isa and Musa (peace be upon them), had already given glad tidings, they called him a magician and called the clear signs he brought magic. Allah does not guide such unjust people who knowingly fabricate lies. The same subject has been mentioned in Surah Al-An'am (21,20).
Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan — Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf
Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
7. 1 That is, to declare Allah's offspring, or to declare as forbidden those animals which He has not declared forbidden.
7. 2 Which is the most noble and superior among all religions, therefore, how can it befit such a person to fabricate lies against anyone, let alone to attribute lies to Allah?
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran — Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
7. And who is more unjust than the one who invents a lie [9] against Allah while he is being invited to Islam? And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.
[9] What Slanders Did the Christians Attribute to Allah?
This refers to the various kinds of slanders that the Christians have attributed to Allah. Sometimes they say that ‘Isa ibn Maryam is the son of Allah. Sometimes they say that he is the third of three gods, and sometimes they say that ‘Isa himself is Allah, and that Allah has incarnated into the body of ‘Isa. In addition to these, their slanders include making additions to the texts of the Gospels according to their own desires, and interpreting or denying what already exists. And above all these things, the greatest injustice they committed was that when the Prophet of the Last Age invited them to Islam, they used their self-invented slanders as a real basis and, becoming an example of “building falsehood upon falsehood,” they denied this Prophet. How can those who have become so bold and daring in fabricating lies against Allah ever attain guidance? It is not Allah’s way to forcibly bring such wrongdoers to the path of guidance.
