72. 1. The phrase وَاَنْ اَقِیْمُوْا is connected to لِنُسْلِمُ. That is, we have been commanded to submit to the Lord of all worlds and to establish prayer and to fear Him. After submission and obedience to Allah, the very first command given is the establishment of prayer, which highlights the importance of prayer, and this is not possible without piety and humility. وانھا لکبیرۃ الا علی الخشعین (البقرہ)
