۞ لَهُمْ دَارُ ٱلسَّلَـٰمِ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ ۖ وَهُوَ وَلِيُّهُم بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ ﴿127﴾
For them will be the home of peace (Paradise) with their Lord. And He will be their Walî (Helper and Protector) because of what they used to do.
۞ لَهُمْ lahum For them
دَارُ dāru (will be) home
ٱلسَّلَـٰمِ l-salāmi (of) [the] peace
عِندَ ʿinda with
رَبِّهِمْ ۖ rabbihim their Lord
وَهُوَ wahuwa And He
وَلِيُّهُم waliyyuhum (will be) their protecting friend
بِمَا bimā because
كَانُوا۟ kānū (of what) they used to
يَعْمَلُونَ yaʿmalūna do

127. 1. That is, just as in the world the believers, avoiding the crooked paths of disbelief and misguidance, remained steadfast on the straight path of faith and guidance, now in the Hereafter too, there is the abode of peace for them, and Allah Almighty is also their friend and helper because of their righteous deeds.

127. For such people, there is a home of peace [134] with their Lord, and He will be their Protector because of the good deeds they used to do.

[134] That is, for the obedient servants of Allah, Allah will grant such a place of residence where there will be safety and protection from every hardship. That home will be secure from the terrors of the Resurrection on the Day of Judgment and from the heat of the fire of Hell. There, peace will descend upon them from Allah, and the angels will also pray for their peace. They will also greet each other with peace. There, they will not have to face any illness, hardship, or sorrow and grief. Rather, they will be provided with continuous and everlasting blessings.
