Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 112) ➊ {وَ كَذٰلِكَ جَعَلْنَا لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ عَدُوًّا ……: } That is, just as the devils from among jinn and mankind are showing enmity towards you, this is not only your situation, but in the same way, We made devils from among jinn and mankind enemies for all the previous prophets as well, so you do not need to be anxious; rather, just as the previous prophets showed patience and steadfastness in the face of their wicked enemies, you too should be patient over their harm, and do not let despair and anxiety find a way into yourself.
{يُوْحِيْ بَعْضُهُمْ اِلٰى بَعْضٍ …… :} The meaning of "wahy" is to inform in a hidden manner, that is, those humans and jinn who are devils, secretly teach their own simple-minded people various adorned and embellished tricks and schemes to deceive. {’’ غُرُوْرًا ‘‘} is the maf‘ul lahu, meaning "for the purpose of deceiving."
{وَ لَوْ شَآءَ رَبُّكَ مَا فَعَلُوْهُ:} But since He wants to give them a full opportunity for trial in order to complete the argument, and to forcibly prevent someone from disobedience is against His wisdom and system of creation, therefore He is giving them respite.
{فَذَرْهُمْ وَ مَا يَفْتَرُوْنَ:} That is, do not care about them, leave them and their fabrications to Allah, He Himself will deal with them.

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

112. 1 This is the same point that has been stated in different ways for the consolation of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, that all the prophets who came before you were denied, they were given troubles, and so on. The purpose is that just as they acted with patience and perseverance, you too should demonstrate patience and steadfastness in the face of these enemies of truth. From this, it is also understood that the followers of Satan are also among the jinn, and these are those who, from both groups, are rebellious and arrogant in nature.

112. 2 وَحْیُ refers to a secret matter, meaning that in order to mislead humans and jinn, they teach each other tricks and schemes so that they can involve people in deception and fraud. This is also commonly observed that in satanic deeds, people cooperate with each other enthusiastically, due to which evil spreads very quickly.

112. 3 That is, Allah Almighty is capable of thwarting these satanic tactics. But He will not do so by compulsion, because doing so would be against His system and principle which He has adopted according to His will, the wisdoms of which He knows best.

Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

112. And thus We have made for every prophet enemies—devils from among mankind and jinn—who inspire one another with alluring words in deception [116]. And had your Lord willed, they would not have done it. So leave them and what they fabricate.

The Misleading Schemes and Propaganda of the Disbelievers:

That is, this battle between truth and falsehood has confronted every prophet. All satanic forces have always stood firmly against the prophets, and among these enemies are not only humans but also devils, who continue to inspire their friends with many seemingly promising schemes, suggesting that this plan could be effective in ending Islam and the Prophet, and that another plan is even better than this one. They also present such schemes that outwardly appear good but are in reality deception and trickery, just as the Jews devised the plan that some Jews should accept faith and then, after a short time, become apostates. The society would then be influenced by this act, thinking that there must be something wrong, otherwise the Jews are learned people—if Islam were the true religion, how could they turn away from the truth? Then they would widely propagate such things among the people. Or, as the polytheists used to say, how strange it is that Muslims consider what Allah has killed (carrion) as forbidden, but what they themselves kill (by slaughter) as lawful.
