Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 91,90){ وَ اَمَّاۤ اِنْ كَانَ مِنْ اَصْحٰبِ الْيَمِيْنِ … :} The commentators have explained the grammatical structure of these two verses in several ways; one simple structure is as follows: {’’وَأَمَّا إِنْ كَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ الْيَمِيْنِ فَيُقَالُ لَهُ سَلاَمٌ لَّكَ لِكَوْنِكَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ الْيَمِيْنِ‘‘} “But if he is among those on the right, then it will be said to him: ‘Peace be upon you, for you are among the companions of the right.’” The meaning is that, at the time of death, the angels say peace to the companions of the right and give them glad tidings that now you will remain safe from every sorrow and every fear, because you are among the companions of the right. That is, the angels will give him the glad tidings of being among the companions of the right and say peace to him. This same thing has been mentioned in detail in Surah Ha Meem As-Sajdah, verses (30 to 32).

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

90-1 This is the second category, the general believers. They too will escape Hell and enter Paradise, however, in ranks they will be lower than the foremost. The angels of death also give them glad tidings of peace.
