[38] ﴿مُدْهِنُوْنَ﴾ ﴿دُهْنٌ﴾ means oil, fat, grease, and ﴿اَدْهَنَ﴾ means to soften something by applying oil. Mudāhanat has several meanings, such as adopting flexibility in a matter, becoming lax, adopting a hypocritical attitude, or not considering something worthy of serious attention.
