(Ayah 51 to 56) {ثُمَّ اِنَّكُمْ اَيُّهَا الضَّآلُّوْنَ الْمُكَذِّبُوْنَ…:’’ الْهِيْمِ ‘‘’’أَهْيَمُ‘‘} (masculine) and {’’هَيْمَاءُ‘‘} (feminine) is the plural of, on the pattern of {’’فُعْلٌ‘‘}; originally there was a dammah on the "ha", but due to the "ya" it was changed to a kasrah, just as the plural of {’’أَبْيَضُ‘‘} and {’’بَيْضَاءُ‘‘} is {’’بِيْضٌ‘‘}. Those camels which are afflicted with the disease of hiyaam (on the pattern of zuqaam), meaning such thirst that the camels keep drinking water but it is never quenched, until they die or become near death.
