The Qualities of Allah's She-Camel and the Trial of the People:

This gigantic she-camel was given to the people of Thamud as a miracle in response to their demand. That is why it was called Naqatullah, or the She-Camel of Allah. Wherever it went, other animals would flee in fear. Therefore, respecting this she-camel became a trial for that people. Eventually, according to divine revelation, it was decided that on one day, this she-camel would drink from the well of the settlement, and on the other day, the rest of the people's animals would drink. At the same time, the people were warned that if they altered this arrangement or caused any harm to the she-camel, then they would not be spared.
