Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 12) ➊ {وَ فَجَّرْنَا الْاَرْضَ عُيُوْنًا:} That is, We split the earth with water in such a way that it all became springs.
{ فَالْتَقَى الْمَآءُ عَلٰۤى اَمْرٍ قَدْ قُدِرَ:} That is, the water of the earth and the sky became one, for the task that had been decreed. The meaning is the destruction of the people of Noah.

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. 12. And We burst open the earth with springs, and the waters met for a matter [12] already decreed.

[12]
The Scene of Noah's Flood:

From above, a torrential, continuous, and unceasing rain began to fall. It seemed as if the sky had opened its gates. From below, water started to gush forth from the oven first. Then countless springs burst out, and it appeared as if the entire earth had turned into springs. Wherever one looked, water was gushing forth. This process continued uninterrupted for six months, and the water level rose so high that even small mountains were submerged, and the water reached the level that Allah Almighty had decreed.
