Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 42) {وَ اَنَّ اِلٰى رَبِّكَ الْمُنْتَهٰى :} That is, every person will ultimately return to his Lord, as He said: « كُلٌّ اِلَيْنَا رٰجِعُوْنَ» [ الأنبیاء : ۹۳ ] "All are to return to Us." Another meaning is that all chains of knowledge and thoughts end with Allah Almighty, as He said: « يَسْـَٔلُوْنَكَ عَنِ السَّاعَةِ اَيَّانَ مُرْسٰىهَا (42) فِيْمَ اَنْتَ مِنْ ذِكْرٰىهَا (43) اِلٰى رَبِّكَ مُنْتَهٰىهَا » [ النازعات : ۴۲ تا ۴۴ ] "They ask you about the Hour—when will its establishment be? In what concern are you of its mention? To your Lord is its finality (of knowledge)."

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. 42. And that to your Lord alone is the final return [30].

[30] That is, every person will also have to appear before Allah Almighty, and the ultimate end of every person’s good and bad deeds is also with Him. Therefore, He will give every person the full recompense for both his deeds and their effects.
