➋ { لَا لَغْوٌ فِيْهَا وَ لَا تَاْثِيْمٌ:} There are many flaws in the wine of this world, the greatest of which is that a person's intellect becomes veiled, whereas intellect is what distinguishes him from animals and grants him superiority over them. Then, in a state of intoxication, he starts uttering nonsense, commits sinful acts, and sometimes even dishonors his own close female relatives. The wine of Paradise will have none of the flaws of worldly wine, but it will possess, to the highest degree, all those qualities for which people drink it in this world despite its bitterness, foul smell, and harmful aftereffects. [18] The people of Paradise will not snatch wine goblets from each other out of fear that the supply of wine will run out, but rather, they will do so merely in a playful and cheerful manner.

The Circulation of Wine in Paradise:
The wine of this world has many flaws. For example, its taste is bitter and its smell unpleasant; its intoxication rises to the head, causing dizziness and sometimes even pain. Its intoxication clouds the mind and causes confusion. In this state of intoxication, a person may sometimes utter nonsense, insult someone, or commit some other sinful act. Its only benefit is that it provides temporary pleasure and, during its effect, sorrows are forgotten—though this too is actually a result of mental confusion. The wine of Paradise, however, will certainly provide pleasure and delight, but it will be free from all such harms.
