Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

The antecedent of the pronoun in {یُؤْفَكُ عَنْهُ مَنْ اُفِكَ: ’’ عَنْهُ ‘‘} is either the word {’’ الدِّيْنَ ‘‘} in {’’ اِنَّ الدِّيْنَ لَوَاقِعٌ ‘‘}. In this case, the meaning is that only he is led astray from it (the Resurrection) who was already astray; no person of sound mind can be turned away or misled by it. Or, the antecedent of the pronoun in {’’ عَنْهُ ‘‘} is {’’ قَوْلٍ مُّخْتَلِفٍ ‘‘}, in which case {’’عَنْ‘‘} is in the sense of causation. The meaning would then be that certainly you are involved in a conflicting matter, due to which only he is led astray who was already astray; because of such conflicting matters, no person of sound mind can be misled. Remember that among the meanings of {’’عَنْ‘‘}, causation is an established meaning. An example of this meaning is this verse: «وَ مَا نَحْنُ بِتَارِكِيْۤ اٰلِهَتِنَا عَنْ قَوْلِكَ» [ ھود : ۵۳ ] "And we will never abandon our gods because of what you say."

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

9. 1. That is, from believing in the Prophet ﷺ, or from the truth, that is, resurrection and monotheism, or the meaning is that from the aforementioned disagreement, the person was turned away whom Allah turned away by His grace. In the first meaning, there is condemnation, and in the second, there is praise.

Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

9. Only he turns away from it [4] who is destined to turn away.

Evidence for the Hereafter from the Order and System of the Sky:

That is, by the sky with netted pathways, you people who are uttering all sorts of statements about the Resurrection and the Hereafter—many will come to believe in this Resurrection and the Hereafter, and denial of this belief will only come from the one who has closed all the doors of goodness and happiness upon himself. Only such a person can refrain from accepting these matters. Otherwise, if he were to reflect on the order and system of the sky itself, he would be convinced that disputing this issue is sheer folly.
