Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 50) ➊ {فَفِرُّوْۤا اِلَى اللّٰهِ:} That is, when the heavens, the earth, and everything in the universe indicate the oneness of Allah and His power to resurrect you, it is obligatory upon you to hasten towards Allah, abandon disbelief and turn to monotheism, and repent from sins and seek refuge in His mercy.
{ اِنِّيْ لَكُمْ مِّنْهُ نَذِيْرٌ مُّبِيْنٌ:} Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: [ مَثَلِيْ وَ مَثَلُ مَا بَعَثَنِيَ اللّٰهُ كَمَثَلِ رَجُلٍ أَتٰی قَوْمًا فَقَالَ رَأَيْتُ الْجَيْشَ بِعَيْنَيَّ، وَ إِنِّيْ أَنَا النَّذِيْرُ الْعُرْيَانُ فَالنَّجَاءَ النَّجَاءَ فَأَطَاعَتْهُ طَائِفَةٌ فَأَدْلَجُوْا عَلٰی مَهْلِهِمْ فَنَجَوْا، وَكَذَّبَتْهُ طَائِفَةٌ فَصَبَّحَهُمُ الْجَيْشُ فَاجْتَاحَهُمْ ] [بخاري، الرقاق، باب الانتہاء عن المعاصي : ۶۴۸۲ ] "My example and the example of what Allah has sent me with is like that of a man who came to a people and said, 'I have seen the army with my own eyes and I am a naked warner.' (It was an ancient Arab custom that the person warning of an enemy attack would remove his clothes and, naked, would shout to warn of the attack.) Therefore, run, run! So one group accepted his word and set out calmly in the darkness and were saved, while another group denied him, so the army attacked them early in the morning and destroyed them."
