تَبْصِرَةً وَذِكْرَىٰ لِكُلِّ عَبْدٍ مُّنِيبٍ ﴿8﴾
An insight and a Reminder for every slave who turns to Allâh in repentance (i.e. the one who believes in the Oneness of Allâh and performs deeds of His obedience, and always begs His pardon).
تَبْصِرَةًۭ tabṣiratan Giving insight
وَذِكْرَىٰ wadhik'rā and a reminder
لِكُلِّ likulli for every
عَبْدٍۢ ʿabdin slave
مُّنِيبٍۢ munībin who turns

(Ayah 8){ تَبْصِرَةً وَّ ذِكْرٰى …: ’’ تَبْصِرَةً ‘‘} and {’’ ذِكْرٰى ‘‘}—both of these are objects of purpose (maf'ūl lahu), meaning We created all this and mentioned it here to show and remind every person who turns towards Allah, because only he benefits from this admonition. For the one who pays no attention, all of this is useless:
They took the blind man around the market, showed him the whole city,
In the end, he said, "I did not see anything."
"That is, the blind man was shown the market and taken around the whole city, but in the end, he only said that he did not see anything."
