إِنَّمَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِخْوَةٌ فَأَصْلِحُوا۟ بَيْنَ أَخَوَيْكُمْ ۚ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ ﴿10﴾
The believers are nothing else than brothers (in Islâmic religion). So make reconciliation between your brothers, and fear Allâh, that you may receive mercy.
إِنَّمَا innamā Only
ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ l-mu'minūna the believers
إِخْوَةٌۭ ikh'watun (are) brothers
فَأَصْلِحُوا۟ fa-aṣliḥū so make peace
بَيْنَ bayna between
أَخَوَيْكُمْ ۚ akhawaykum your brothers
وَٱتَّقُوا۟ wa-ittaqū and fear Allah
ٱللَّهَ l-laha and fear Allah
لَعَلَّكُمْ laʿallakum so that you may
تُرْحَمُونَ tur'ḥamūna receive mercy

(Ayah 10) ➊ {اِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ اِخْوَةٌ :} The most effective way to prevent fighting is to make the fighters aware of their kinship: look, whom are you fighting? Your own brother—how terrible this is. That is why Allah has reminded the Muslims of their religious kinship, which is even stronger than blood kinship. Those who, before the advent of Islam, were bitter enemies despite their blood ties—such as the case of Aws and Khazraj—became brothers by the grace of Allah through Islam. (See Al Imran: 103) The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: [ اَلْمُسْلِمُ أَخُو الْمُسْلِمِ لَا يَظْلِمُهُ، وَلاَ يُسْلِمُهُ ] [ بخاري، المظالم، باب لا یظلم المسلم المسلم ولایسلمہ : ۲۴۴۲، عن ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنھما ] “A Muslim is the brother of a Muslim; he neither oppresses him nor abandons him helpless.”
➋ The dual of {فَاَصْلِحُوْا بَيْنَ اَخَوَيْكُمْ: ’’أَخٌ‘‘} is {’’أَخَوَانِ‘‘} and {’’أَخَوَيْنِ‘‘}, and when it is annexed to {’’كُمْ‘‘}, the noon of declension drops, and {’’أَخَوَيْ‘‘} remains, which, when joined with {’’كُمْ‘‘}, becomes {’’ اَخَوَيْكُمْ ‘‘}, so make peace between your two brothers, whether the two are individuals or two groups.
{ وَ اتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُوْنَ:} That is, when making peace, keep in mind that you are reconciling between your two brothers, who also share the bond of brotherhood with you. Therefore, consider this relationship and make peace with complete justice and fear of Allah, so that neither party is deprived of their rights nor is anyone wronged. If you fulfill this duty fearing Allah, then surely Allah will have mercy on you. The word {’’لَعَلَّ‘‘} is used to give hope, but in the speech of great people, it conveys certainty, because it is not befitting their status to give hope and then not fulfill it. Then, when the King of kings and the Owner of the entire universe gives hope, how can there be any doubt about its certainty? Besides, the word {’’لَعَلَّ‘‘} also comes in the meaning of “so that.” The meaning is that Allah’s mercy is for those who fear Him, so when reconciling between brothers, fear Allah and make peace with justice, so that Allah’s mercy may be upon you.
➍ This verse connects all the Muslims of the world into one community. No matter where a Muslim is in the world, all other Muslims consider him a brother. Such a relationship is not found anywhere except in Islam. (Kilani)

10. 1. This is an emphasis of the previous command, meaning that since all believers are brothers to one another, their foundation is faith. Therefore, the importance of this foundation demands that those who believe in the same religion should not fight among themselves, but rather be each other's supporters, helpers in distress, companions, and well-wishers. And if, due to some misunderstanding, distance and hatred arise between them, it should be removed and they should be reconciled with each other. 10. 1. And in every matter, fear Allah, perhaps because of this you may become deserving of Allah's mercy. Otherwise, Allah's mercy is certain for the people of faith and piety.

10. The believers are but brothers to one another. So make peace [13] between your brothers, and fear Allah so that you may receive mercy.

Prevention of Fighting:

That is, when you set out to make peace, keep in mind that you are reconciling between two brothers. Therefore, perform this task with complete justice and fairness, and with fear of Allah, in such a way that neither party is deprived of their rights nor is anyone wronged. If you reconcile them with justice and fairness, then surely Allah will have mercy on you. And this mercy can be upon the group making peace individually, and collectively as well—that is, Allah will save your community from disintegration, its integrity will be restored, and its strength will remain intact. This verse connects Muslims all over the world into a universal brotherhood. No matter where a Muslim is in the world, all other Muslims consider him their brother. Such a bond of brotherhood is not found in any religion or faith other than Islam.
