Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim — Hafiz Abdus Salam Bin Muhammad Bhutvi
Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
(Ayah 3) {وَيَنْصُرَكَاللّٰهُنَصْرًاعَزِيْزًا:} The fourth and final blessing is that the mention of “mighty victory” is stated along with His most majestic name “Allah,” so that its importance becomes clear. That is, Allah will grant you such help through which you will gain honor, strength, and dominance, and your enemies will be rendered helpless and subdued. Here, for emphasis, “Mighty” is attributed to “victory,” otherwise, as a result, it is the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) who is to become mighty. This is similar to the saying: {’’ فُلاَنٌنَهَارُهُصَائِمٌوَلَيْلُهُقَائِمٌ ‘‘} “So-and-so’s day is one of fasting and his night is one of standing (in prayer).”
Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan — Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf
Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran — Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
3. And grant you a mighty help [3].
[3] Four Blessings of Allah in the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah:
As a result of this clear victory, Allah Almighty granted you four things. (1) Forgiveness of past and future slips. (2) Completion of blessings. By completion of blessings, it is meant that henceforth, an emergency atmosphere will no longer be imposed upon the Muslims, and they will be able to live their lives freely in every way, safe and secure from all kinds of fear and external interference, fully according to Islamic civilization and culture and Islamic laws and commands, and they will be able to fulfill the duty of exalting the word of Allah. (3) At this point, showing you the straight path means showing you the path of victory and success. That is, as a result of this clear victory, Allah paved the way for youﷺ by which all the forces hostile to Islam would continue to be subdued. (4) By ﴿نَصْرًاعَزِيْزًا﴾ is meant such help that apparently seems to the enemy as their victory, but in reality, it is the very thing that cuts off their roots and subdues them.
The Scarcity of Water at Hudaybiyyah and Your Miracles:
At this place, Allah Almighty bestowed some more favors upon the Muslims. The Islamic army stayed here for more than twenty days. During this time, there was a severe shortage of water. Thus, Sayyiduna Jabirؓ says that the people became extremely thirsty. The Messenger of Allahﷺ had a water-skin with him. Heﷺ performed ablution from it. People came to youﷺ, so youﷺ asked them: What is the matter? The Companions said: O Messenger of Allahﷺ, we have no water for ablution or for drinking. Only this water is left in your water-skin. Hearing this, youﷺ placed your hand in that water-skin. Water began to flow from yourﷺ fingers like springs. Thus, all of us drank water and performed ablution as well. Salim (the narrator) asked Jabirؓ: How many people were you that day? Jabirؓ said: Even if we had been a hundred thousand, that water would have sufficed for us; we were only fifteen hundred people. [بخاری۔ کتاب المغازی۔ باب غزوۃ الحدیبیۃ] The second incident is narrated by Sayyiduna Baraؓ bin Azib that at Hudaybiyyah, there were fourteen hundred or more people with the Messenger of Allahﷺ. They descended at a well and drew all its water. Then they came to youﷺ and said that there was no water left. What should we do now? Youﷺ came to the well, sat on its edge, and said: Bring a bucket of its water. Youﷺ put your blessed lips in it and prayed to Allah. Then youﷺ said: Do not draw water from it for an hour. After that, from the water of that well, the people and all the animals drank their fill. Then they set off from there. [بخاری۔ کتاب المغازی۔ باب غزوۃ الحدیبیۃ]
One Who Attributes Rain to the Stars is a Disbeliever:
After this, by Allah’s mercy, it rained and the Muslims stored water as well. Thus, Zayd bin Khalid al-Juhani says that the Messenger of Allahﷺ led us in the morning prayer at Hudaybiyyah, and it had rained during the night. When the prayer was finished, heﷺ turned to the people and said: Do you know what your Lord, Allah the Mighty and Majestic, says? The Companions replied: Allah and His Messenger know best. Heﷺ said: Allah Almighty says that this morning some of My servants have become believers and some disbelievers. Whoever said that this rain is by the grace and mercy of Allah, he is My believer and a denier of the stars; and whoever said that this rain occurred because such-and-such star entered such-and-such constellation, he has disbelieved in Me and believed in the stars. [بخاری۔ کتاب الصلوٰۃ۔ باب یستقبل الامام الناس اذاسلم]
