Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 6) {وَ يُدْخِلُهُمُ الْجَنَّةَ عَرَّفَهَا لَهُمْ:} That is, Allah Almighty will admit them to that Paradise whose recognition He has made very clear through the verses of the Quran and through the words of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). In verse (15) of this Surah, some identification of it is also mentioned. When they enter that Paradise, it will not be unfamiliar to them, rather it will be exactly according to the promise and identification that Allah Almighty has already made known to them. {’’ عَرَّفَهَا لَهُمْ ‘‘} This also includes the point that no inhabitant of Paradise will need to ask anyone for the way to their home in Paradise. Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: لَأَحَدُهُمْ أَهْدٰی بِمَنْزِلِهِ فِی الْجَنَّةِ مِنْهُ بِمَنْزِلِهِ كَانَ فِي الدُّنْيَا ] [بخاری، الرقاق، باب القصاص یوم القیامۃ:۶۵۳۵ ] "When the believers will be saved from the Fire, they will be stopped at a bridge between Paradise and Hell, then they will be have retribution exacted for the wrongs they did to each other in the world, until when they are thoroughly purified, they will be permitted to enter Paradise. So, by the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad (peace be upon him)! Each of them will know the way to his home in Paradise better than he knew the way to his home in the world."

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

6. 1. That is, they will recognize it without guidance, and when they enter Paradise, they will enter their respective homes by themselves. This is also supported by a hadith in which the Prophet ﷺ said, "By Him in Whose hand is my soul, a person of Paradise will have more knowledge of the paths to his home in Paradise than he had of his home in the world." (Sahih Bukhari)

Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

6. And He will admit them to Paradise [7], which He has made known to them [8].

[7] That is, those who are martyred in the way of Allah do not only benefit by becoming a cause for national life. Rather, they themselves also receive many benefits. Even if, from a worldly perspective, they may not appear to be successful. For example, Allah guides them to the right path and does not let their efforts go to waste. Secondly, He removes all kinds of malice from their hearts and corrects their condition. Then He will admit them into Paradise.

The Various Meanings of 'Urf':

This phrase can have three meanings. One is that they will enter such gardens which have already been introduced to them through the Book and the Sunnah, and all those who enter Paradise will know its characteristics. The second meaning is that every inhabitant of Paradise will recognize his own house and dwelling in Paradise. Thus, it is mentioned in Sahih Bukhari, in the Book of "The Beginning of Creation," that the people of Paradise will recognize their homes and residences even more than they recognized their houses in the world. That is, they will face no confusion in recognizing their place of residence, nor will they lose their way. The third meaning is that just as 'arafa means to recognize and 'arrafa means to make someone recognize, similarly, 'arafa also means to apply fragrance and 'arrafa means to perfume and spread fragrance. (Mufradat al-Qur'an) In this sense, it would mean that Allah Almighty has filled Paradise with fragrance for the people of Paradise.
