Translation by Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan & Dr. Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali
And whosoever does not respond to Allâh’s Caller, he cannot escape on earth, and there will be no Auliyâ’ (lords, helpers, supporters, protectors) for him besides Allâh (from Allâh’s punishment). Those are in manifest error.

Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
(Ayah 32) ➊ {وَمَنْلَّايُجِبْدَاعِيَاللّٰهِ … :} After the glad tidings, this is a warning, in which those who do not believe in this Book are warned. This is the same thing that has been mentioned in Surah Jinn with these words: « وَاَنَّاظَنَنَّاۤاَنْلَّنْنُّعْجِزَاللّٰهَفِيالْاَرْضِوَلَنْنُّعْجِزَهٗهَرَبًا »[ الجن : ۱۲ ] "And that we have certainly believed that we can never cause failure to Allah upon the earth, nor can we escape Him by flight."
➋ { وَلَيْسَلَهٗمِنْدُوْنِهٖۤاَوْلِيَآءُ:} That is, whoever does not accept Allah's invitation can neither escape Allah's grasp in this world or the Hereafter, nor can any kind of helpers come to his aid.

The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
32. 1. That is, it is not possible that he becomes lost in the vastness of the earth in such a way that he cannot be seized by Allah. 32. 1. Who can save him from Allah's punishment. The meaning is that neither is he himself capable of escaping Allah's grasp, nor is it possible to do so with the help of anyone else.
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran — Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani

And whoever does not respond to the caller of Allah cannot escape Him on earth, nor will he have any protector besides Him (who can save him from the punishment of Allah). Such people are in clear misguidance.
[45] Because now the jinn can no longer ascend towards the heavens, and if they try, the angels drive them away. Therefore, now the earth is their only refuge. If they flee from the earth, where will they go?
